Our country and state are in crisis and I cannot sit idly by and watch our government invalidate our Constitution and violate the rights of our citizens. Both parties currently in power try to present the image that they oppose each other. Illinois has seen time and time again that both sides are perfectly willing to work together to ignore and subvert the rights of its individuals.
I will represent Southern Illinois with clear and uncompromising positions on the critical issues facing America today. I am not beholden to Democratic or Republican machines, nor will I bend to any party leadership.
As stated in my “About” section, I am a USAF veteran. When I enlisted, I took an Oath to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” When I took that oath in 2006, I did not put an expiration date on it. That oath is still very much a part of me. As a matter of fact, it is my oath that compels me to run for office. [Read More]

They believe that wise men like themselves, if put into positions of power, can guide and direct the economy of 13 million people. They each have a different plan, and each claim that their plan is better than the others. They are both wrong. [Read More]
Consent of the Governed
America is more than a chunk of land occupied by people. America is an idea. It is often referred to as “the American Experiment”. It is called this, because never before in the history of mankind, had this idea for self-governance been attempted. Our nation was designed to run from the bottom up, not from the top down.
